Mayte Martín comes to Teatre l’Aliança del Poblenou to present Tatuajes, a repertoire of songs that journey through flamenco, bolero, and popular music through the sensitivity of one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music.
Awarded the 2024 National Culture Award and the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, the Barcelona-born cantaora has built an impeccable career marked by elegance, delicacy, and an unmistakable performance style. Over the years, she has skillfully bypassed market rules, collaborating with artists as diverse as Tete Montoliu or the Labèque sisters, exploring different musical languages without ever losing her essence.
On December 17, she will take the stage in a quartet format, vocals, piano, double bass, and drums, to offer an intimate and moving concert featuring songs that have crossed generations.
