Zenet in concert at Teatre l’Aliança Poblenou!
The most elegant voice of song
Elegance, craftsmanship, and artistic excellence. There are names that define a genre all on their own, and Zenet is undoubtedly one of them. With over fifteen years of career behind him, the Malaga-born artist has established himself as one of the most recognizable, unique, and sophisticated voices of jazz and folklore in Spanish. A true icon of our scene, he stands out for an unmistakable, eclectic style that turns every song into an exercise in emotional precision, where words, intention, and music flow in perfect unison.
Since his dazzling debut with Los Mares de China (2008), Zenet has won over both critics and audiences with now-legendary songs like Soñar contigo, Un beso de esos, or Me gustas. Throughout his discography, he has built a highly evocative musical language of his own, borrowing from diverse sounds—from bolero to jazz, bossa nova to swing or blues—all wrapped in a live performance rich with clear cabaret undertones. This impeccable, multidisciplinary career has not only brought him numerous accolades but also extends to cinema as an actor and Goya nominee.
After showcasing his talent as a true “genre thief” and collaborating with music greats like Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Miguel Poveda, or El Kanka, Zenet now returns to the stage to present Las Manos y la Voz live. Released in late 2025, this is his most essential, intimate, and refined work to date; a roots-driven album with a purely handcrafted sound born as a tribute to José Taboada, his late musical partner who remains deeply present on this journey.
On November 12th, we won’t just experience a concert: we will live a raw, honest acoustic journey that embraces the past, baring his soul on stage in its ultimate expression.
