Santiago Auserón returns to Barcelona on October 23rd to present Nerantzi, a project exploring the cultural and musical ties between both shores of the Mediterranean. Following a career defined by rock, Cuban son, and African-American roots, the Aragonese artist now delves into his Greek influences.
Accompanied by guitarist Theodoros Karellas and master bouzouki player Vaggelis Tzeretas, Auserón creates a dialogue between singer-songwriter traditions, Mediterranean ballads, and 20th-century Greek rebetiko. The result is a repertoire that blends original compositions with Spanish adaptations of popular Greek songs, performed with deep respect for tradition and a unique artistic identity.
